From the crystal capital,
to your wrist.
ZenGem is a small bench in Donghai, Jiangsu — the town that mines and cuts most of the world's crystal beads. Every bracelet is strung by hand, by a person, for one wrist at a time.
Why we string by hand
Machine-strung bracelets are fast and identical. Hand-stringing lets us check every bead against your design, feel for chips and hidden cracks, and hide the knot where it will not show. It is slower. That is the point.
Real stones, photographed as themselves
Every bead in the library is photographed at macro distance — the exact stone you will receive. Natural stone varies in colour and pattern; what you see is the honest range, not a rendering.
Care, honestly
Elastic cord works hard and eventually relaxes — that is physics, not a defect. Every box includes spare cord and two spare beads; the guide card inside walks you through re-stringing it yourself in about five minutes. Lost a bead? We ship replacements straight to your door.
How your bracelet is made
You design
Pick a finished design, answer four questions, or string from scratch — sized to your wrist from the very first bead.
We check every bead
Your design sheet goes to the bench. Each stone is matched against your pick and inspected by hand for chips and cracks.
Strung & knotted
Elastic or wire, strung to your wrist size with the right ease, the knot hidden between beads where it will not show.
Photo, then shipped
You get a macro photo of your exact bracelet before it ships. Nothing leaves the bench without your nod.
